Mettler-Toledo Thornton announces release of the pHure Sensor™, a new pH sensor for measuring low conductivity samples in pure water treatment and power plant cycle chemistry applications. Normally a difficult measurement, high purity pH can now be determined on-line with this convenient and compact sensor assembly. Rapid and stable measurements are assured with a low-volume stainless steel flow housing and a combination electrode with pre-pressurized gel electrolyte reference, low resistance measuring element and integral temperature compensator. It does not use a separate electrolyte reservoir or require refilling. It may be used with Thornton's M300 and 770MAX transmitters.
