CS2 Series Large Bore Tie Rod Cylinder

CS2 Series Large Bore Tie Rod Cylinder

The CS2 cylinder is now available in 125mm, 140mm and 160mm bore sizes. The CS2 is a redesign of SMC's CS1 125mm, 140mm and 160mm bore sizes. The new CS2 cylinder is now available and highlights the following features.

  • Die cast aluminum covers result in a 55% reduction is weight from the CS1 series.
  • Clear anodized end covers for improved corrosion resistance.
  • End of stroke air cushion adjustments are now more precise. The number of turns for valve adjustment has been changed from 3.5 to 5.
  • The air cushion adjustment tool is now a hex wrench for easier adjust-ability.
  • In order to simplify installation and maintenance, the air cushion adjustment is now on the same surface as the port.
  • The end of stroke air cushion seal has been changed for improved performance and repair-ability.
  • Rolled piston rod threads for increased thread strength.
  • Hard chrome plated piston rod on our larger bores for better wear resistance.
  • Piston wear ring for extended cylinder life.
  • Pre-lubricated at the factory means that the CS2 does not require a lubricated system.
  • Meets all of the CS1 specifications!
