Product manager, Jason Aldrich announced that the 1540 Non-Bleed, Side-Mount Pneumatic Level Switch has been added to the 1500 series of products from SOR®. The 1540 is a horizontally mounted, float-operated level switch suitable for plant and OEM applications where pneumatic valve operation is required to signal presence or absence of liquid at a discrete level.

Some of the highlights include: all 316SS body and wetted parts, "non-bleed" design, rugged, one-piece body, compact design, and a lower price.

Aldrich says, "The new 1540 is ideal for many plant and OEM applications, for example, natural gas well equipment. These remote stations often operate on the same gas they are extracting and with today's natural gas prices, the energy companies aren't too keen on loosing any of it. Not to mention all of the safety and environmental issues. The 1540 is a perfect fit with its non-bleed design."
