The MZ2Q-C Magnetic Cylinder Sensor is the first magnetic cylinder sensor with two programmable switching points for C-slot cylinders, reducing installation and wiring costs. SICK is currently the only company to offer this "2 in 1" sensor concept, providing users greater functional reliability with rapid piston movements, two-fold final position detection in pneumatic cylinders, and the precise detection of different gripper positions.

The MZ2Q-C complements our existing programmable sensor offering as an addition to the programmable T-slot sensor, the MZ2Q, launched during last year. The MZ2Q, designed for T-slot cylinders, is also available for installation on a variety of magnetic cylinders with the help of the three mounting systems. These three different mounting systems allow MZ2Q Sensors to be installed on round, integrated profile, dovetail and tie-rod cylinders. And, the MZ2Q-C sensor offers an enclosure rating of IP 67, for tough environments.
