An infrared oven to fast-dry a water-based PTFE conductor release agent on bare stranded wire ahead of an extruder uses a column of three Glenro Radround™ Series 42 infrared heaters. A quartz cylinder surrounds the product with extremely intense, uniform, controlled infrared heat. An SCR control system regulates oven temperature using thermocouple feedback control loops.
