Dukane Ultrasonics food processing uses high-frequency sound vibrations to process food products faster & eliminate most of the downtime caused by the continual cleaning of conventional cutting blades. Ultrasonic equipment provides a new way to cut, slice, divert, align or transfer a variety of foods streamlining production, reducing waste & lowering maintenance costs. (read more)
In a Lapping/Polishing process, the final precision cleaning is needed to be thorough, repeatable & fast. The Lapmaster series of Heavy-Duty Ultrasonic Cleaning Systems for Industrial Applications is designed to meet such criteria. Our systems (4 standard models are available) are enabled to remove oils, waxes or slurry off surfaces; leaving no residue, damage, scratches or corrosion. (read more)
Ultrasonic metal welding is sometimes called "cold welding" because it works without melting the metals. It cleans and welds at temperatures lower than the melting point of the metals. Ultrasonic metal welding most commonly joins nonferrous metals, but can also be used with other metals, such as when welding aluminum to ceramics. (read more)
Could you improve your company's production if you had more knowledge of ultrasonic plastics assembly? Or are you the one responsible for the requirements of your ultrasonically assembled components? If so sign up for Dukane's one day or two day training programs (read more)
Dukane introduces IQ Series Software for ultrasonic plastic welding systems. Ethernet capabilities allow remote access from anywhere in your manufacturing facility, or anywhere in the world. The graph and save tools make quality management and documentation easier (ideal for FDA/GAMP guidelines). Production analysis screens track efficiency/productivity. (read more)
Understanding and Caring for the Heart of your Ultrasonic System. This white paper covers the theory of operation, stack assembly/disassembly, maintenance and a glossary. Plastic welding is the most common application of ultrasonic welding, used across multiple industries (read more)
Ultrasonic staking, or riveting, is an assembly procedure used to join dissimilar materials, usually plastic to metal or dissimilar plastics. A hole in the metal part receives the plastic rivet, or stud, and a specially contoured horn contacts the stud. The stud melts and reforms to create a locking head over the metal. (read more)
Dukane Corporation has an inventory of used ultrasonic welders for sale. These factory certified used welders come with a limited warranty backed by our worldwide network of service and support. This equipment typically was used in our applications labs as our sales engineer's demo equipment. Most machines have few actual production hours. (read more)
Do you have an application that could be ultrasonically assembled? Or would hot plate or hot air/cold upset be more efficient? Not sure? No matter where in the world you are, we are always available to answer questions, evaluate applications, troubleshoot equipment, or discuss equipment and process options –– all at no cost or obligation to you. (read more)
