Specialty Fluid and Gas Processing Equipment

Specialty fluid and gas processing equipment includes specialty or proprietary equipment for processing fluids and gases. There are many different types of products, but four basic categories: specialty fluid processing equipment, specialty gas processing equipment, proprietary fluid processing equipment, and proprietary gas processing equipment. Other types of specialty fluid and gas processing equipment may also be available.

Specialty fluid and gas processing equipment includes specialty and proprietary fluid processing equipment such as tanks and vessels, distillation equipment, solvent recovery systems, eductors, and evaporators. This category also includes specialized and proprietary food and beverage processing and service equipment, liquid samplers, industrial mixers, and process reactors. There are three basic types of specialty tanks and specialty vessels: storage tanks, process tanks, and pressure vessels. Specialty distillation equipment and specialty solvent recovery systems are used in recycling applications and to reduce manufacturing waste. Specialty eductors are used to lift, pump, mix and agitate liquids, granular solids and slurries. They are sometimes called aspirators, Venturi pumps, or jet pump ejectors. Specialty evaporators convert materials from a liquid to a gaseous state. Specialty food and beverage processing equipment includes conveyors, tables, mixes, blenders, and vacuum tumblers. Specialty liquid samplers are used to take samples of media from process streams, reactors or storage vessels. Specialty mixers use a shaft, screw, blades, ribbons, impellers, or propellers to mix industrial materials such as adhesives, chemicals, construction materials, coatings and paints. Specialty process reactors are used to contain reactions. Proprietary fluid processing equipment is also part of the specialty fluid and gas processing equipment area.

Specialty fluid and gas processing equipment includes specialty and proprietary gas processing equipment such as gas handling equipment, gas compressors and systems, gas cylinders, gas distribution systems, gas generation equipment, gas pressure regulators, and gas purifiers, dryers, and filters. Specialty gas compressors and systems are used to pressurize and circulate gas through a process, enhance conditions for chemical reactions, provide inert gas for safety or control systems, recover and recompress process gas, and maintain correct pressure by either adding or removing gas and/or vapors from a specialty process system. Specialty gas cylinders are used to store gases under high pressures. Specialty gas distribution systems consist of vaporizers, gas cabinets, gas manifolds, mass flow controllers, valves, pressure sensors, and associated interconnect tubing. Specialty gas generation equipment is used to generate or disassociate gases for specialized or proprietary industrial processes. Specialty gas pressure regulators reduce the high-pressure gas in a specialty gas cylinder or specialty process line to a lower, usable level. Specialty gas purifiers, specialty gas dryers, and specialty gas filters are used to purify in a process stream. Proprietary gas processing equipment is also part of the specialty fluid and gas processing equipment area.
