Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
   Thread Gage?

Dimensional instruments, tools, or gaging components are designed for measuring thread size, pitch, or other parameters.  Thread plug gages, thread ring gages, measuring wire, thread comparator, thread gaging rolls, thread gaging spring, and STI plug gages are used for thread measurement. Calipers and micrometers with point anvils or contact tips are used for thread or serration measurement.

Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
   Type:
   Your choices are...

   Go

Go gages provide a precision tool for production comparative gaging based on a fixed limit.  Go gages consist of a fixed limit gage with a gaging limit based on the plus or minus tolerances of the inspected part.  A go ring gage's dimensions are based on the maximum OD tolerance of the round bar or part being gaged. A go plug gage's dimensions are based on the minimum ID tolerance of the hole or part being gaged.  The go plug (ID) gage should be specified to a plus gagemakers' tolerance from the minimum part tolerance.  The go ring (OD) gage should be specified to a minus gagemakers' tolerance from the maximum part tolerance.

   No Go

No-go or not-go gages provide a precision tool for production comparative gaging based on a fixed limit. No-go gages consist of a fixed limit gage with a gaging limit based on the minimum or maximum tolerances of the inspected part.  A no-go ring gage's dimensions are based on the minimum OD tolerance of the round bar or part being gaged.  The no go ring (OD) gage should be specified to a plus gagemakers' tolerance from the minimun part tolerance.

   Master / Setting Ring

Master gage blocks, master or setting discs, and setting rings are types of master gages used to calibrate or set micrometers, comparators, or other gaging systems. Working gages are used in the shop for dimensional inspection and periodically checked against a master gage.

   Other

Other unlisted, specialized, or proprietary plug or ring gage types.

Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
   Ring Gage Set?

Gage sets include several gages and accessories packaged into a kit, usually in a case with adjusting tools. Tool kits sometimes contain alternate extensions and contact tips, holders, bases, or standards.

Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
   Assembly / Holder Included?

Devices include mounting handles or holders.

Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
   Gaging Technology
   Your choices are...

   Air / Pneumatic

Gages or gaging systems use the changes in flow or pressure in air nozzles or inlets internally located in air plugs, probes, rings or snaps or other pneumatic gages. Pneumatic comparators, digital readouts, analog amplifiers, columns or flowmeter / rotameter tubes are used to display air gaging dimensional data.

   Electronic

Electronic gages use LVDT, capacitance, inductive or other electronic probes to sense the distance or displacement of a contact or stylus. Mechanical gages such as micrometers, plug gages, and snap gages may employ an integral electronic probe in addition to the mechanical gaging elements.

   Mechanical

Mechanical gages use comparison or the physical movement and displacement of a gaging element (e.g., spindle, slide, stem) to determine the dimensions of a part or feature.  Micrometers, calipers, indicators, plug gages, ring gages or snap gages are examples of mechanical gages.

   Other

Other unlisted, specialized, or proprietary technology types.

Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
Specifications

   Units:
   Your choices are...

   English

Gages and gaging systems are based on the English system of measurement (e.g., inches).

   Metric

Gages and gaging systems are based on the metric system of measurement (e.g., centimeters, millimeters).

Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
   Ring Size / Diameter:

The diameter of threaded fastener or part feature being measured.

Search Logic:      User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
   Set Range:

The total diameter or dimensional range that the set of ring gages can measure.

Search Logic:      User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
   Set Steps / Increments:

The dimensional size increments or steps in a set of ring gages.

Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value less than or equal to the specified value.
   Tolerance Class
   Your choices are...

   Class XX

Class XX gages with a size range of .001" to 0.08250" should have a tolerance of no more than 0.00002".

   Class X

Features

   Certificate of Calibration

Gages have a certificate of calibration, a document that indicates a gage meets or has been calibrated to specific dimensional tolerance or gaging precision standards requirements. ANSI, ISO, DIN, and NIST standards are used to control gage calibration.

Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
   Heat Insulated Holder?

Micrometers, snaps gages, go / no-go plugs, setting discs or other gages have plastic, heat insulating handles or holders. Insulating handles help prevent damage to dimensional gages that could be caused by the heat from a human hand.

Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
